About Rock Hill Farm
In 1948, Elgin and Emily Garnett purchased a piece of land in Caycuse, BC, where they cleared the property and built their dream home: Rock Hill Farm. Thirty-five years later, the farm was passed down to their youngest daughter, Laura, and her husband Ronald, who raised their own children there and continued the legacy of family, hard work, and creativity.
Heather, the granddaughter of Elgin and Emily—and the youngest daughter of Ronald and Laura—began making and selling artisanal candles in 2016. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a true passion. As a mother of six, finding quiet moments for creativity can be a challenge, but Heather has discovered that even an hour spent in her candle shop brings balance and joy. Working with wax, experimenting with colours, and finding the perfect scent combinations—blending chemistry with artistry—has become her little slice of heaven.
Named in honour of the farm that was her parents’ and grandparents’ dream, Rock Hill Farm Candles carries that spirit forward. Each candle is crafted with care and shared with the hope that it brings a bit of warmth, comfort, and joy into your home—just a small slice of Heather’s dream.
